This is an awesome, free place to visit for something different away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. The park is located near the Strip and we could even see the strip from some parts of the park. The park is a wonderful little known gem with a fun, interesting and educational nature center. The center is staffed with friendly volunteers and interactive exhibits. We spent some time in the center learning and going through the exhibits and then went out on the trail. The trail is very nice because it is paved and you could push a stroller or wheelchair easily. It is peaceful and not crowded and we saw a lot more wildlife and then expected. I would definitely recommend this park. We saw lizards, turtles and many birds, some of which was my first time sighting in the wild. To name a few we saw ibises, a killdeer, a heron, coots and gallinules.

Love going riding on the bike trails! There are a couple of hills that are brutal uphill climbs on a mountain bikes. Most road bike riders handle the hills with ease! All in all a great system of trails and a great workout or cruise.

Nice place for a stroll or to go bike riding (so many routes!). There's a fun little visitor center that's great for kids. It's free to go inside of and it has alot of interactive & learning activities for the whole family.

Who knew there were wetlands in the desert??? Well done interpretive center, knowledgeable volunteers, flat trails, spectacular vegetation. We were only in Vegas for a few days - but went back a second time!
