Homeless are EVERYWHERE! it's a nice big park with a wide variety of options like dog park, lake, open areas, and sports. BUT... There are homeless tents all over and no one is doing anything about it. I have called news, parks and rec, even our senator. I used to love this park, but maybe I'll go for other options now.

The largest public park in the Vegas Valley. Outstanding for all manner of sports, recreation and gatherings. Tons of trees for shaded relaxation. Large pond for sport fishing. Multiple walking trails for running, jogging, biking and dog walking. Covered seating areas with grills for cookouts. Scenic overlook with wonderful 360 views. A haven for the local wildlife. Massive amount of parking space.

I went for the Renaissance Fair, which was several times larger than when I last attended. Everything was good, no fights, lots of neat things to see and buy. Food/drinks priced high, but bearable. The only drawback was parking the next major intersection away and not being able to find an exit from the event, late evening.

Sunset Park is amazing. It is great for spending time with the family and close relatives and just have fun in general. Having fun at this park is effortless since this park allows people to do anything (except illegal activities of course).

Truly a beautiful place to relax or exercise. They have a beautiful lake you can walk around which is one mile and totaly fabulous exercise while seeing ducks, rabbits, and other wildlife. They offer many picnic and barbecue areas, an amphitheatre that could accommodate a moderate-sized wedding, numerous covered picnic areas that can be reserved or family gatherings and parties, beach volleyball, baseball, frisbee golf, a dog park, and many separate playgrounds. They also have nature trails for people wanting to get in more serious exercise, walking jogging, rollerblading, and more. Bring duck food for the Ducks!!!! You can pick some up over at Animal Kingdom on Eastern and Tropicana, not so very far from the park. Enjoy!
