This is my go to place for baked goods. When we were planning our wedding, having already done the super traditional white wedding many years ago, we wanted to do some fun, not so traditional things. I am not a big fan of white cake, so i decided to do many cakes, many different flavors. Could not find any grocery bakery or even many actual bakeries to work with my ideas on fillings and toppings, but Rose at Classic Bakery took the risk. We had traditional white cake w white icing and red roses. Other cakes: Turtle Peanutbutter Cup Almond Joy Strawberry Shortcake Lemon Chocolate covered Cherries Banana nut w Cream Cheese Raspberry Cream The guests loved them and so did we. We have had 2 birthdays since our July 3rd wedding and i make the 30 min drive to Classic Bakery just because they are so delicious. And i always get one of their little pineapple upside down cakes (single serving) for the ride home. Their pastries are awesome, too!

I want to crawl around in the cases and eat everything. They have the best butterflake rolls, we get them for every holiday.

Banana split cake is the best cake ever! Everything else pales in comparison.

Horrible... For my wife's Birthday I ordered a cake with strawberry filling. The writing on the cake was sloppy but I'm a laid back guy and everything was spelled right so I didn't complain. The employee was rude but I can get over that as long as the cake tasted good. What really made me angry was they forgot to add the strawberry filling and the cake tasted horrible - basically inedible. It had an unpleasant chemical/plastic taste about it. The strawberry filling might have helped if they would have remembered to add it. I ended up throwing out the cake and getting another one from Giant Eagle.
