I have eaten here twice and have nothing negative to say about the place. I have tried the pizza, and it is my absolute favorite. Lunch prices are good as well, and servers are pretty friendly. I haven't experienced any of the negativity that other customers have red-flagged, but if I do I will be sure to make it known. I love coming here for lunch, and the large mason jars that they serve your drinks in eliminates the need for refills, unless you are a soda-guzzling fish monster of course!

I LOVE this place! I have ordered delivery of pizza and lasagna twice and it was delivered hot and in less than an hour. The pizza is great! I got the Chicago Bulls (all meat). It is awesome. Thick crust, not doughy, baked to perfection!! We also got the GLUTEN FREE Pizza. It was great! Prices are fair for the quality.

This was my very first and last time ordering Pizza from here! First and foremost.. I placed an order for delivery. In which the delivery took over an hour! And once the delivery driver did finally make it! My pizza was nothing as I requested. The crust was burnt and also.I requested the deep dish pizza.. In which I received a thin crust!! 😡😡😡Very, very PISSED!!!!

Horrible customer service! If I could I would give it 0 stars. To make it so bad the owner is the worst one. I would never recommend anyone eat there

First off I loved the pizza here but the owner is UNBELIEVABLY rude and COMPLETELY unethical in his dealings with his customers! I ordered a Pizza for delivery. The pizza was delivered missing a topping so I called to let them know that the pizza was made incorrectly. The owner answered the phone when I called though I had no idea until the next day that he was the owner. So start by identifying that i ordered the pizza for delivery I let him know that the topping was missing. I hadn't eaten the pizza yet and I just wanted the pizza remade correctly as I had paid for the topping. The owner actually first accused me of ordering it incorrectly but the topping was listed clearly on the receipt so it WAS in fact ordered correctly. When I brought this up the owner decided that the best course of action at that point was to hang up on me, repeatedly. Each and every time I called back to talk to him about the missing topping he hung up on me. Despite this phone experience I took the mostly uneaten pizza back to the store the next day to meet the owner/manager working the day after and report the rude behavior of the person answering the phones the night before. My intentions at this point were to show the owner/manager working during the day that the pizza was missing the topping that was ordered and at a minimum get the $1.89 I paid for the topping back. I arrived and asked one of the girls working there if i could speak with the owner if he was in. He came out from the back and when I stated talking to him I discovered that he was the same person from on the phone the night before, and that he is in fact the owner. His response to my showing up with the uneaten pizza and receipt was to call the police and tell them that I was violently attacking him and his customers! He obviously was trying to get me to run away at this point. (If you don't have an argument and you can't ignore them, bluster and built them is the philosophy I guess?) I called his bluff and waited for the police to show up. Talking with several of the customers while waiting for the police to arrive I heard several other horror stories about how the customers there dining have witnessed the owner treating other customers poorly in the past. He apparently has made a habit of yelling at those who disagree with him and such. I won't provide details of what I was told as I did not witness them first hand. Once the police officer arrived she spoke with the owner, then several customers who were dining there at the time who had seen this all transpire and myself. Her observation as well as the other customer witnesses confirmed for her that I wasn't being violent and I had committed no crime. When questioning me she examined the pizza and agreed that the topping was ordered and paid for and it was missing from the pizza, but she also told me that she couldn't MAKE him refund the $1.89 for the topping. Like I said at the beginning, I loved the pizza here and I was a happy - going to be life long - customer of Classic Chicago Gourmet Pizza up until the night before. I would still be a happy customer if the owner hadn't decided to pull this fiasco! Shame, shame shame!
