I had a couple officers tonight pull me over for the " move over law ". I was unfamiliar with some aspects of the law but the officers informed me fully without making me feel attacked or belittled. I was picking up a friend that had too much to drink and taking him home when these great officers pulled me over tonight. I would have paid that ticket without a sour face... I fully respect our local law enforcement and I really wish I had gotten their names to give them a proper thank you but I'm glad to see that Clearwater is hiring some really great men and women to look after this city. I was born and raised here... About 28 years now But I have yet to meet such wonderful and professional officers until tonight. You all are doing a great job so thank you! And thank you to the nice officers tonight that kept Me fully informed and cut me a break. I appreciate you both and I really hope that the 2 of you stay safe!

Also let me add this.. I have been on the Good and the bad side of these clearwater officers. Sure things didn't go the way I expected them to when I needed these guys to help me out, sure they went way better than expected when I probably didn't deserve them to go that way... But regardless of all of that...professionalism was always a priority and they do the best they can. Clearwater is the best! Thanks guys!

Clearwater- where it's ok for men to assault women and get away with it. Especially when the man already has plenty of assault charges and assault with deadly weapon charges. They are only protecting their own agenda.

Non emergency officers are unnecessarily rude and talk to you like you stupid when theyre not even listening to what your saying. And previously my ex bf (330lb) hit me(160)I ran to my neighbor to call police because he grabbed my phone & broke it so I cudn' t call. He was in my house when police got to the house I own and they took his side and said it was mutual. I cant just put him out. If it was mutual why was I running out my house and he broke my phone. They're useless I will never trust them again. I asked them abt my phone they said it was a civil matter make a report but they came to my house when he called them for washing powder & a firestick.

Lazy rude unprofessional. I called non emergency number people answering the phone were white trash. No manners no dignity .

I lost my wallet yesterday working at a property in Clearwater. I work at multiple properties everyday in Tampa Bay and had no idea which house I had lost my wallet at in the rainstorm. 
   Clearwater Police called me after I got home from work today asking me if I had lost my wallet. I was stunned. The friendly Clearwater Police then asked me if I wanted to pick up my wallet tonight, anytime before 11:45 PM. Again I was stunned. 
I just picked up my wallet and all the cash, credit cards, ID's etc. everything was in my wallet and Technician Hornbeck was drying everything out on her desk. I am a Tampa native and I cannot describe the respect I have gained for the Clearwater Police Department.   Clearwater should be very proud of the Clearwater Police and its proven integrity.
