I have been to many libraries in 60 years and this one is the best. They have great parking, a beautiful view of the beach, water and Clearwater Beach, children's floor for playing, a place to snack at the cafe, a little store inside, classes for the public - drive up drop off service, an online service that pulls your books for you and has them ready to pick up.... it goes on and on.  The Best Library Ever!

Have to agree with the homeless problem,  but they are mostly downstairs.  The kids area is great, a lot of fun activities and toys. I enjoy the sign- up activities as well.  It's usually quiet and the employees are friendly ands helpful. And the view is gorgeous. We like it.

Love it! i live in St Pete, and come to Clearwater to use this library. Awesome views,and staff. Yeah, its a homeless hangout. But unlike St. Pete, they dont put up with any garbage out of them.

Not a very good library at all. Has good desks for getting work done, but outside of that its very dated. The A/C doesn't run the entire building so it tends to get pretty warm, the bathrooms are TERRIBLE! messy and dated as well. Also seems to be hub for the homeless, especially on Sundays. Would not recommend unless you have no other options for internet or can't get to another library.

Homeless live in the library. They are there every single day. They smell and hog the computers. They hid now and stay quiet. You will see them. The worst part of it is they do even read books. Clearwater homeless day shelter. Not everyones house burns down. They are homeless by choice.
