These people are wonderful.   They tended to two emergencies when my regular vet turned me away and told me to go to the emergency clinic.  After experiencing that, I decided that I needed to switch vets. I have been with Clemmons Vet for 2 years now.  Had another emergency today...and the girl at the front desk told me to come on in and they would work me in.  They eased my worries and took excellent care of my little girl.  I have read the some negative reviews about the front desk....please...understand that these girls are working hard to tend to everyone.   They are not rude....they are busy.  It is all about the pets.....not some about a selfish pet owner.  If you want great pet care from a compassionate group,  this is the place to be.  I found them because they squeezed me in when my current vet turned me away.....I am so gracious.  I am 100 percent happy and thankful for this group of compassionate professionals.

The staff are some of the most professional and caring people I've met. Two weeks ago, we had to take our sweet dog Ginger to be put down. It took about an hour for everyone in my family to get there and then we spent an additional hour cuddling and loving on her before she crossed the rainbow bridge. The staff was so patient and kind. Today there was a beautiful card in the mail signed by everyone there. If you want a clinic that really cares about and understands family, go here.

If I could give this vet negative stars I would. I went to a new location who took my animals in and did a THOROUGH REVIEW of their health and history and come to find out some issues that they have that were NEVER expressed to me at this vet. I have been on the edge of leaving this vet for awhile due to the crappy service but it finally hit me one day I needed to move on. The front desk staff full of women are EXTREMELY rude every time you come in. They never ask how you are and they say in the most bitchy way "can I help you?" The way they express themselves comes across as if your inconveniencing them when it's THEIR job to take care of you and what you need for your pet. They never smile and are super unprofessional in my opinion. My doctor for my animals was Pete Gilyard and anytime I saw him he was always rushing and barely even looked at my animal let alone touched them to check for any physical problems. I always had to ask them to check this or that. My cats are older and need things checked and I am beyond happy that I have moved on from this vet to get a second opinion from someone else and to get the proper and professional care for them that they need. If you are looking for a vet that really cares and are not rushed then this is NOT the place. I would think twice.

Dr. Pete is straightforward, kind, & caring. He has an obvious passion for animals, which is displayed by the way he interacts with them during appointments. We always appreciate that he respects that sometimes you need some viable options for treatment. He has always given us the optimal solution, with one or two other treatment options that would be beneficial & also respect the time, money, & effort that the treatments would require. We are thrilled to have our two dogs be his patients!

I've had animals of some variety for many, many years and have seen several vets.  Dr. Pete Guillard is the best vet I have ever seen.  He is so caring and personable.  The office is friendly yet professional.  I have recommended several people to Clemmons Vet Clinic.
