Story

Cliff's Amusement Park is a combination amusement park and water park in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. It opened in 1959. It features 24 rides for all ages, food, and carnival style games. It also features a water attraction, WaterMania!, which operates Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. It's also has the only wooden roller coaster in New Mexico, the New Mexico Rattler.Early beginnings (1959–1962)Cliff and Zella Hammond built a small kiddie park located at 7600 Lomas Blvd in 1959 and named it Uncle Cliff’s Kiddieland. After a few years at this location, the neighbors started a petition to have the park shut down. They relocated for a very short time to Little Beavertown in Tijeras Canyon outside Albuquerque.Evolution (1963 – present)In 1963, Cliff's relocated to its present location at 4800 Osuna Rd. NE. At that time it was on the very outskirts of Albuquerque. As bigger attractions were being built the company wanted to take the emphasis from the word "Kiddie" and dropped it and renamed the park Cliff's Amusement Park.RidesRoller Coasters Galaxi New Mexico Rattler Water Rides WaterMania! Had such a fun summer here rides were shutting down so often though. Weather permitting this is a great place to bring the whole family! I chose the platinum season pass and got $5 of food to eat every time I visit. I can't tell you how grateful I was to spend my summer safe here by myself or with family.

Cliff's is great. It's really fun to have our own little amusement park here in Albuquerque. It's got a small town Mom and Pop feel to it. Spend all day there....make yourself stick from all the rides...then do it all again. They have cheap food to eat there. But you can also leave and come back of you like. Lots of great food close by.

best children's entertainment value in New Mexico. Wholesome fun christian-owned Enterprise, and the roller coaster is insanely fast. As fast as anything anywhere else.

Bring your own snacks. Overpriced. nothing very exciting. This is the best you're going to get in New Mexico. Take sunscreen there's not very much shade.

I'm used to bigger theme parks (grew up 30 minutes from a Six Flags), but it's decent to spend a day at with younger kids. They also have pretty good deals too. They are close to plenty of businesses and restaurants so that's convenient
