The mission of the Cliffside Park Free Public Library is to provide quality services, resources, and lifelong learning opportunities through books, and a variety of other formats to meet the informational, educational, cultural and recreational needs and interests of it's diverse and changing population.

Great little library with lots of programs for everyone, esp the kids. My younger one enjoyed the dance, yoga and music classes before starting school years ago and now both my kids are loving the chess class. In my opinion, they have the best museum pass program in the county as well(compared to many in the surrounding areas)

It was amazing! The staff was very helpful, but yet managed to maintain order within the library. I was able to do my work quicker than ever before!

What a horrible experience. All staff members were so loud; they were having so many uncomfortable conversations that were truly disturbing me while I tried to work. I could not believe that they were talking so loud.

I absolutely love this library! It is a cosy, quiet, clean establishment with wonderful books and friendly staff. But the main reason I adore this place is it's children's program. My 2 year-old son just can't get enough of it, we go there every day: open play on Mondays and Fridays, story times on Tuesdays and Thursdays, every other week there is a musical class on Wednsday or Saturday. Besides, arts and crafts supplies and projects are always available. My son has ASD, so it is also a great place for him to socialize and learn to communicate to peers or even grown-ups. Sometimes we just go there to read a book or two because every morning I hear :"Mama, let's go to the library!"
