It used to be our favorite library but lately the new custodian who sits at the front desk has been giving us a hard time. We are not allowed to take kids books under an adult library card and vice versa. Looks like the librarian just makes rules on the go as it fits her fancy. Basically, we were denied to take books back home by citing some made up rules. I went and cross checked with the other branches and there are no such rules on book! Anyways.. now I am just staying away from this branch.

I love this little library. It's a great place to take my daughter to year round. There is also a sunken work area where the school students work/hang out in. I'm not sure this is the best place if you want a super quiet library, but it's comfortable. Aside from the guys who use the computers to creep on facebook, who openly check out the big bootie bitches.

one of the quietest libraries- probably the only actually quiet one in the city. great selection of young adult books and they read a lot to little kids.
