It is difficult to decide what to do with your loved one’s ashes, which is how I stumbled upon making jewelry with ashes. Regarding the color of the person’s ashes, ashes are like finger prints, they’re all different and you never know how they will look until they’re set. What I do is take the ashes and set them in a clear solution that simply solidifies them. When the ashes are set they look like glass or stone. If you were to get the ashes wet you would best see how they will turn out. All of my pendants are sterling silver.
