Story

Hello, my name is Tammy. Just to start I will tell you a little about myself. I was born in Hemet Valley, CA, but I grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I graduated from Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids, in 2001. Shortly after high school I was blessed with my first son, Grayson, he is now 14 years old. I went to Kirkwood Community College to get a degree in Interior Design and I found I was very lost in my career choice. So in 2013 I decided to go to Carlson College of Massage Therapy and get a degree in Massage. I graduated from Carlson in August 2013. Shortly after graduating from Carlson I was blessed with my second son, Kamden. Some of my hobbies are, long horseback rides, camping every chance I get, four wheeling and getting muddy, scrapbooking when I have time, and hanging out with friends in family.
I now have found my career that I truly enjoy; there isn’t a day that goes by where I feel like I’m going to work. It’s more like seeing family and helping so many people with massage. While I was still in school at Carlson I got continuing Ed in Scar Tissue Release which I found very fascinating and helped me understand more about the body. I’m looking forward to many new techniques and fun experiences with massage therapy.
