Story

We are a team of 88 sworn and civilian employees serving a great community of over 37,000 people. We are extremely proud of our group of dedicated professionals. Our team is devoted to bringing the best possible customer service to our citizens, working in partnership to making Clovis a safer place to live, work and play.

Mission

The Clovis Police Department's mission is to provide professional and ethical police services in partnership with our citizens; to identify and solve the problems of crime, to reduce the fear of crime and prevent social disorder, thereby making Clovis a safer community to live, work and play in.

Another law "enforcement" agency who evidently believe themselves to be above the law. On 02/09/2018 northbound on NM Hwy. 84 between I-40 between and I-25 at Romeroville, NM, between 12:00 noon and 12:30 P.M. a Clovis PD cruiser was flying along at over 95 MPH. He was over 130 miles outside his jurisdiction. No emergency lights were being used, in the VERY slim chance this criminal in blue was responding to some alleged emergency! IMO there was NO emergency as he would slow through towns to a consistent 20 MPH over those posted speed limits also. If he were late for something he should have left earlier! IMO there is no reason for law "enforcement" to arrogantly and willfully break the law! However, I guess that is what gives rise to BLM, and other movements like them, coupled with otherwise law-abiding LEGAL citizens growing lack of respect for cops of any level! Of course they will retaliate if they find out who complains about their law-breaking actions.

The sgts are doing there jobvery well the younger sterotyping police officers that are first on the seen wanna earn stripes and arresst or escalate legal matter instead of morally and lawfully setting a standardsettintg a tainted statistic but not mentally to the community some of them have familes and lives while others are young and ignorant sexist and biased
