Last Wednesday I took a spontaneous trip to Wichita with my friend here all the way from Tulsa.. This place has a great atmosphere, cheap drinks... but... being a competitive dancer, I would not recommend dancing here. The floors are sticky, gritty, everything you could think of. So I’m just saying if you want to dance... I wouldn’t unless you’re just a line dancer then it isn’t so bad!

To be perfectly honest this is the first time I've had a good experience there. The staff is typically too busy to be hospitable and I can't stand all the drunk people getting too wild for anyone else to have fun, but tonight was different :) my brother and his wife (who is from another country) came out to see line dancing and bull riding with her mom (also from out of the country). They had such a good time :) and my bartender (shout out to Brooke!) made it even better. She was super sweet and genuinely made what I thought was going to be a bad night a good one. I typically go out downtown because it's a little more my speed, but I might actually give Rodeo another go with my friends that like to go here in the future. Thank you to all the people who made tonight a good night (especially you Brooke. I always tip based on service and yours was perfect!)

On 29 December 2017, my husband and I went to Club Rodeo to visit some friends and family (we're stationed at Fort Stewart). Basically, we opened a tab (gave Bar Manager, Devan, our card). Went to go pay the tab with cash ($100). Devan said she would void our card transaction… never did. (3 January 2018) Saw they charged us $130 to our card. Called during business hours, busy signal… but we got ahold of Club Rodeo via facebook. Got a call from General Manager, Kyle Kelley, explained the situation. (6 Jan) He reviewed footage said my husband never handed her cash. 5 minutes later he told me he may have handed her a $10 (he never had a $10 in his wallet). He talked with my husband and said he heard everything that Devan said to us and she never said she would void the transaction (he is obviously covering for her because Devan told me and my husband) and then said he has 20 hours of footage to review and we should call him back Monday. (8 Jan) I called Kyle, and he still didn't have time to review footage. (10 Jan) Kyle had told me that he got the owner involved with the situation and the owner was going to review the footage because he (Kyle) was a novice at looking at footage and to call back the next day. (11 Jan) Called.. no answer… (12 Jan) Called.. no answer. Still have yet to receive a call from General Manager, Kyle.

So, from here on out my husband and I will never open a tab and we will always just pay with cash after each purchase.

Staff is rude, security are nasty, and the music stinks!!! Me and my boyfriend went for the first time (and last time). We where treated as if we did something wrong when in fact all that we did was dance next to a spot where two guys started fighting... about 10 security guys beat up my boyfriend grabbed me and restrained me (felt me up) because I was scared screaming at them to leave him alone. I will have nightmares for the rest of my life because of this place

After being warned by locals to stay far away, the husband and I decided to check it out anyway. Everyone said it was nothing but wannabe cowboys who mercilessly hit on every woman they could, started fights, and took advantage of drunk girls. 

We had a blast. The cover charge is a little high ($7 each). The service was great and it wasn't a "rough crowd" like we were warned. Yes there were guys who were probably taking advantage of drunk girls (that's a bar, unfortunately) but everyone was nice. The bull riding was fun to watch. The drinks were good and not expensive. The music went back and forth between country and pop. Overall, as a late 20s/early 30s married couple, we really enjoyed ourselves.
