Awesome live music! Loved Hijinx! The Port has a good dance floor. The bar tenders are great, will remember you and they make good drinks. Four pool tables, so you don't have to wait all night to play. Overall a good place to have a fun night.

Went in after the lunch rush. Was greeted by the bartender, a very sweet woman. Suggested the margarita special, and when asked suggested the Italian sub. Sandwich was very good (although next time, I'll ask it to be heated as it is served as a cold sandwich) and french fries were very fresh and crispy, not oily. Will definitely be going back! Glad to see this Wichita Institution, back up and running!

The Port of Wichita just reopened recently. We went for Saturday night Karaoke. Bob Alison was the DJ for the karaoke and he did an amazing job! We had a lot of fun! If you haven’t gone recently you should go check it out.

Was SO hopeful and excited when I heard someone had reopened The Port. I went in to check it out and was immediately horrified by how they were attempting to run everything. I still wanted to try and be a part of their team because I love the regulars and The Port in general. I made it one evening and was insulted by the owner in front of customers within hours of clocking in. Nonetheless I was not discouraged although their entire system causes customers to have to wait and makes any wait staff or bartenders look incompetent.
 I started my second shift clinging on to the smallest amount of hope that they would be able to pull it together. 30 min in to that shift Mike (one of the "owners") decided it would be the most professional decision to loudly have a conversation which would inevitably end in me quitting in front of some of the ONLY customers in the building. Obviously, I'm overall disappointed in everyone and everything about this place I once held so near and dear.

Cool atmosphere looks like a great setup for a club with pool tables, dance floor, and a stage. The bar is a ship which is really neat and the bartenders really nice. Food is typical bar food but the lunch service is super fast!
