Very friendly staff,  and competent. However, I got the feeling that this was more about money,  and conducting the most expensive tests. I realize that it’s a business and they are in business to make a profit.  They promised to check on me at the end of the day, and never called.  Didn’t call me the following day either. I finally decided to go to another vet.  I also had to pay some charges that I didn’t expect to.  The staff seemed very caring.  My dog was extremely sick, but I expected further instruction from them, like they promised.   They also led me to believe that they would include trimming my dog’s nails, since I would be spending several hundred dollars there. When they presented the
bill, I was charged more than twice what I would normally pay. Very disappointing, since they are so close to me.

I would recommend this Vet to anyone with a pet.  My wife and I have been coming to coal mine since our first adopted pet 4 years ago.  Now we have two dogs and a cat. They treat my pets as there own the entire time I am there with them.

As always, the doctors and staff are wonderful to us, and our dog Bunny.  Lots of love and extra attention.  I highly recommend!

I love this place!  And so do all our furry friends!!  Happy staff.  Very clean facility.  Very prompt in attending to our needs.  Our family highly recommends Coal Mine Animal Hospital.  I love it that it is all women, too!

I love Coal Mine Animal Hospital!  The entire staff is friendly and professional.  My sweet pets are in excellent hands here.
