Bought a pair of the coastal F1 boots thru the local snap-on dealer and after wearing them a few months on the right boot I noticed it started to tear in a perfect left to right pattern about 1/2" rearward of the steel toe. The material on this boot in this area of the boot design is not leather. It's a man made carbon fiber looking material. Pretty cool looking boot when it's new. However after sending them back within the 6 month manufacture defect period they declined to replace my boots and honor there warranty they offer. They send back a note with my boots to the snap on dealer indicating it was abuse and that the boot was cut not torn. I showed this tear to the snap on agent the first I saw this condition develop and it progressively  got worse so he suggested sending them back so we paid the money to send them back to Coastal and he said it was an ovious defect in that man made material but Coastal would not replace the boot. This particular snap on dealer said this is the second time they would not honor there written warranty to his customers so he said he will not be selling there boots anymore and that he would let the other dealers know about the problem with dealing with Coastal boot company. I will also let many other mechanics and other snap-on customers and students across the country enrolled in Mechanic Technical Schools, and at dealerships across south east Michigan know just how Coastal boot company operates. :(

This is a great place to get boots from  they have great prices.   I had a issue with a pair of boots they had no problem exchanging them   And the best customer service you can  ask for . I will not go anywhere else but here to buy boots
