Cobalt Roofing & Construction is a locally-owned general contractor serving clients in and around the Madison area. I specialize in installing and repairing quality metal and asphalt roofs at a price that you can afford. Along with roofing, Painting, gutters and siding.
I offer 5,10 and 20 year warranty. I use the best material that surpasses local building codes. Warranty work is important to me, The less you have the better. I use material that no other roofer use. Please call me for a free roof consultation and I show you what sets cobalt apart

There's no doubt in my mind, the majority of the positive reviews for this business have been fabricated. I know I'm not the only one that paid Mr. Francis only to have the job not be completed or half-*** done.  If you want a lot of talk and little results, he's your guy. I eventually had to contact my insurance agent for a referral to have my roof repaired. Mr. Francis had lots of ideas that could be the problem.  But when the rubber met the road, he didn't want to get any deeper into the project. I'm assuming that was because that would cut into his profit. This is the only time I've been burned after reading Google reviews. Hopefully it'll be the last.

David Francis provided an estimate for a roofing replacement, but after the deposit was paid, he provided excuse after excuse as to why he could not perform the work.  Then, he stopped answering any calls or responding to any contact.  This is not a legitimate business!

He is not even at this address, he has no address currently.  He stole $1600 from me and never did any work.  Check them out with the BBB.

David is super honest and very reasonable. Best estimate in town!  Living out of town was very stressful for me as I wasn't home to take care of the repairs. I made a call to David and he took care of everything in one day and I was able to sell my property in no time. I highly recommend this company.

David was fantastic. I called him on a Saturday when I saw an awful leak down the ceiling of a bedroom. He came out immediately and found the problem. Not only did he correct the source of the leak, he also inspected the rest of the roof to ensure there were no other issues. He was nice, efficient, and professional. I highly recommend his service.
