Cock A Doodle is a family friendly restaurant with homegrown comfort- serving Chino California since 1957. Known for it’s home-style cooking and generous portions Cock A Doodle serves comfort food from scratch. Opened all day for breakfast lunch or dinner every menu has a dish that will satisfy your cravings.
We offer different homemade soups, bread baked daily, sauces and dressings all made from the freshest of ingredients. Hand cut steaks are USDA Choice and every Friday and Saturday night we serve the best Prime Rib at the best price with homemade au jus and horseradish! Our breakfast menu is unsurpassed and rightly known as the greatest weekend meal in town.

This place was great. I had the California omelette everything was perfect. The avacados were bright green and the omelette was cooked to perfection with no burned spots and the bacon and cheese was distributed equal throughout. I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy. Little bits of sausage combined with the right amount of pepper made the gravy perfect. I could have just had that for breakfast and would have been fine. Hashed browns were not greasy nor were they undercooked like other restaurants. The chef at this establishment really knows food and must be a foodie like me because the dish was prepared as if it was going to be photographed. Every employee we spoke with was very friendly and seemed happy so this also must be a good place to work. While we were eating THE OWNER came to our table to refill coffee and asked how everything was. Dining room was clean and well kept. Whenever a group left the table was immediately cleared, cleaned up and another group sat. This place runs like clockwork. Much respect for this restaurant team. They really know what they are doing. I wish I could give higher than 5 star. Great Job.

Went to cock-a-doodle for the first time a week ago and the food there was really good. I liked the homey feel of the restaurant and that they have a bar in the back. When we walked in however there wasn't anybody to greet us or show us where to sit so we just took a guess and sat at a random open booth, after a few minutes of sitting by ourselves a waitress came and greeted us and gave us menus and the rest of the service was great. Would recommend for the good food and friendly staff, just wish they had someone to greet you.

Absolutely the best hometown spot to grab breakfast, lunch or dinner. Food is A+ for sure. Many menu options and staff is wonderful and attentive. Absolutely love the lounge area when we stop in for a drink. They have been in Chino for decades Everyone's cool and offers great conversation. Full circle A+ from me- has and will always be a place where everyone knows my name! Cheer's!🍻

The restaurant is attached to a bar.  The bar is always busy but the restaurant is usually quiet.   The food is excellent  and the portions are large.  However,  everything is about 20% higher than I think it should be.  Maybe why the restaurant is always dead.  They seem to run a lot of coupons so usually only go if I have a coupon.

We have been going there for 34 years! Hard to beat the homemade taste. Wait staff is always friendly and efficient. Cottage fried potatoes are my favorite.
