Found this place just hanging out one night last fall. I've been back four or five times now. The food is good and well prepared. The wait staff is not bad, the DJ gets down, but the best experience you will get is at the bar. The bartender (forgot her name now) is the best! The outdoor seating looks nice. This is my new favorite place!

5/19/18 - We've always had great food and a great experience at this restaurant until tonight. We arrived at 10pm, the restaurant was slow (4 seated tables), there were 3 servers and a bartender in the restaurant, and the customer service was terrible...for no reason at all. The host went to seat us but the table was dirty. She asked someone to clean it, and he did, but didn't seat us. The host didn't seat us either. So we seated ourselves. The server came back to the table and took our drink orders. By 10:17pm we didn't have our drinks, nor did the server return to ask if we wanted appetizers or take our dinner orders. Another couple came in and waited at their table for at least 7 minutes before they were given menus. On top of that, our server kept pulling his pants up as he walked across the dining room...that's a no. All of it was just strange. There were literally 5 couples in the restaurant and 4 staff on the floor. We left. The staff was too nonchalant and seemed uninterested in being there. I hope things improve.

Awesome food. I’ve eaten here several times an I’m always pleased. The staff is wonderful, but I’d like to personally thank the chef for doing his thing in the kitchen consistently...even on those slow days.

Food is great, management staff is responsive and very proactive in running the business. They need to invest in experienced servers however. They seem under trained and stressed with a very small attendance. Their lack of knowledge kind of ruins the excellent food and establishment.

The inside is pretty laid back. I'm assuming it gets busy after dark. This day in particular, they were out of beef ribs and grouper and they were also out of island fried rice. Needless to say, we left hungry, although the chicken egg rolls, cod fritters, and island chicken lettuce wraps were tasty. The food was inexpensive, hopefully we can return and enjoy ALL that they have to offer. The waiter, David F. was attentive, friendly, and professional. I will update to 4 or 5 stars upon my families return visit.
