A great place to walk through any time of year. There are several benches scattered throughout the arboretum to sit and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

It's small but still makes you feel secluded. Most beautiful spot on campus.

My favorite place on UNC's campus, hands down. Particularly stunning in the spring, but perfect for a visit any time of year.

If you want manicured lawns and meticulously pruned shrubs, this is not the place for you; but if you enjoy and want to learn about the native landscape of the area then you will love this fantastic place! With plantings that represent the diversity of the native North Carolina landscape and its various habitats, there is much to enjoy and explore here. Beautiful, peaceful, natural and (gasp) educational!
