Rented with them for 2 years without a late payment. They are nearly impossible to contact for any type of maintenance issue.  If they do send someone out they won't even let you know they acknowledged your request.  My neighbor also rents from them and has the same issue.  After my first renew of the lease I was repeated told by the office clerk that I must pay the new higher rate for the last month of original contract.  After endless emails  I refused to talk to her and forwarded the emails to everyone listed in their office. Someone finally set her straight but a big waste of my time for misguided arrogance.  Office staff seems to turn over regularly, and rightfully so....  Once I moved out I gave proper notice and had the place cleaned by a professional, carpet included( part of the lease).  Deposit was refunded minus $25 for photos and $120 for carpet,  no explanation at all.  So I will be more than happy to battle with them one last time.

Just received a letter of intent for our security deposit. I'm in total shock. I should have listened to all of the below comments. Do not rent from this company. They have no intention of giving your deposit back. This is going to end in Court for us. Also they will try to charge you for work they intend to do on the property. So upset

Everything being said in these reviews is completely true. STAY AWAY from this place. The sloppy women in the office care about one thing...WHAT THEY ARE ORDERING FOR LUNCH. As soon as you sign your lease, you are doomed. Problem with your unit? Too bad. Need any assistance with a maintenance problem? Tough luck. Oh, and when it comes time to move out, you better not hold your breath on getting that security deposit back.They will do anything and everything they can including make up fake charges. (a $25 dollar photo charge?) to keep you from receiving that deposit.

This place and everyone that works there is a total joke. If you have any other choice, go elsewhere. If you have absolutely no other choice but to rent through these people you better take photos from day one with that days newspaper and anything you can to prove the state of the place when you arrive, because they will fight you tooth and nail to keep your deposit.

Just an overall terrible experience. I have never, in many years of renting from several places (big complexes, independently, landlords, etc) dealt with scumbags like I have at showcase. The ONLY employee that seems to be decent at this place is the man they have do the inspections. Everyone in the office acts as if you are inconveniencing them any time you call or stop in. Just completely pathetic.

Save yourself the time and money. I would rather live in a tent or on the bench next to lighter bum than to rent through them again!

I HATE showcase! They are wolves in sheep clothing, all nice , but as soon as you need their help or have concerns, they don't want to answer the phone! Nicole answers the phone swearing she is there to help, but that's a lie. Everytime you get transferred no one answers or calls you back until you say "Lawyer" then they miraculously call you back. Rachael is the property manager and she WILL NOT help you. Jerome was my Landlord and he is a scumbag!!! He will take advantage of you and take money for stupid things like $400 in grout!!!! The freaking grout that is dark in color!!!! He is a womanizer and has no respect! If you are a woman with children and working your butt off to live a decent life, he doesn't care!! He will back down if a man is near though. He claims to be an ex cop, but seems to have some entitlement like he is owed the respect. They are ALL liars, cheaters, abusers, and every other word in the book! I am so glad to be out of that. They stole almost a $1000 from me!!!! I am enraged and now I'm trying to see if legal action can be taken, but right now it's looking like I have to bite the bullet. Please save yourself the trouble and be smart. TAKE BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS!! SHOWCASE IS A SCAM!!

We did NOT have a good experience with Showcase managing our property. I am ashamed to say it took us nearly 3 years to discover how bad they are! The first sign of trouble was when they were showing our property for the first time (we were still living there, preparing to move out). There were multiple occasions where people would come to our house with realtors completely unscheduled and uncoordinated with us. On one occasion, I emerged from the shower only wearing a towel around my waste to find a showcase agent standing in my kitchen. They collected our cash for years without doing any work!  And things we DID ask showcase to do were never followed up on. Our last tenant did not have a working dishwasher for half a year and we were not aware other than the initial complaint and our direction to showcase to have somebody look at it. There are many more stories, but I don't have time to write a novel right now. Just steer clear of these guys! We are so happy to be with our new property manager!

By the way, at least one 5-star review I see on here was written by somebody that works there (she does not hide this fact). 

I will also say that the quality of service may depend on which manager you get to manage your property. There ARE decent managers there and horrible managers there. I won't name names, but just know you are rolling the dice with Showcase!
