I used this office to sell our family's home following my parents' death. While I do know if there was any legal wrongdoing involved, I definitely feel that the agents in this office represented the interests of the brother of one of the agents who wanted to buy the property, rather than our family. It certainly felt to me that there was a conflict of interest and questionable ethics in play with this sale. I was totally dissatisfied with their work and would definitely not recommend them to anyone.

We came to Coldwell Banker, The Real Estate Group, following a reccomendation from Pat Bushek, Madison,Wi. to have Jane Glassco sell the home for us.  We would like to thank Pat and Jane for the successful sale of our home.  These professionals teamed well to find the buyer through a series of well placed suggestions. We had the distinct pleasure of working with Gary Schierl on the sale of the property, the house owned by my wife’s mother.  The house had been on the market for eight months with another local realtor without a single offer despite a series of price reductions.
 
Gary then got the contract and took the time to work on details such as rearranging furnishing, working to remove the tobacco smoke odor from the residence, removing some items to accent the size of rooms, changing lighting and bringing in lamps, linens and other items to better show the home.  The change he made added to the appeal of the property, and he likely could have another career with staging and decorating.  The pictures he took and posted of the home were far superior to those done by the previous realtor.  He established a more realistic price point to attract a new pool of buyers and the home was under agreement for sale within three days of being open on the market.
 
Gary was a great help in handling the paperwork and walking us through the process of managing the inspections and other items that arose (roof repairs, “demousing” the residence, etc.).  Throughout all of this he was reliable, available and responsive (by phone, e-mail, coming by the residence when we were in town) in all aspects of our experience.  His genial manner and warmth made us feel that we not only had a highly competent agent, but also a great human being working with us.
 
We cannot speak highly enough of the great regard and thanks we have for the fortunate choice of Gary Schierl in working with us.  We could not have done better.  We would recommend him and your agency to anyone seeking a “super agent.”  Please feel free to quote us in testimonial as regards Gary’s services and the general professionalism of working trough your office.
