Very thourough, conservative in prices .....perfect company to move you household ,personal belongings

Absolutely horrible!!!  $2500 worth of damage and only paying us $288 for it, because they pay 60 cents per pound.  Lost all of our winter clothes that were worth about $800, but because they weighed a total if maybe 30 lbs, are only giving us $18 for it.  Worst service ever, and will never recommend them what so ever.  Act as if nothing major.

We scheduled a move 5 weeks prior to our closing on our home in New Bern, NC, with the understanding that the move would be handled early on the date of the closing of the home and the buyers were to move in to their new home by 1pm that day. Several times during the weeks prior to the move, we reemphasized and confirmed with Jeff Yount, our salesman at the Alied, who assured us that our agreed upon schedule would be met as discussed in our first meeting, before signing a contract. On the early morning off the move we began calling at 7:30 am, to locate the missing moving company truck. We were finally able to get in touch with Jeff about 9:30, an hour and a half after the movers were supposed to be there, and he assured us they would be there at by 10 am, which was 2 hours later than the agreed upon time of arrival. Our closing as discussed prior to our agreeing to use Alied was 11 am, and the buyers had agreed to give us until 1 pm to vacate the house. Sadly, after numerous calls and broken promises the moving truck arrived at 12:30 pm! Jeff Yount apologized and said that Alied would make it up to us, and that Chris the manager of the Jacksonville office had sent our truck to another location that morning, knowing we had been promised it would be at our home first thing.
The moving people finally left with our belongings at 7:30 pm, having damaged items in the house with no concern whatsoever about the agreed upon scheduled as promised. This move was handled 4 weeks ago and to this moment no one from Jacksonville from Coleman America, including the operations manager has had the common courtesy to express any regrets or apologies for the terrible position they put us through as customers.  Sadly, when our items arrived at our new home there were damages and not surprisingly, four weeks later there has been no contact from Alied to address damaged items per our contract. We would strongly recommend utilizing the services of another moving company, as this move has been the worst experience we have experienced in 12 moves including one out of the country. Stay away from this company, and specifically with Chris in the Jacksonville office.
