Joe my young man 3days later looking like himself my dgt april his advocate letting him when ready to come and join group setting
Very sincere helping and understanding him
Finally got him to take medication slowly 
 He king on him regularly
Keeping him longer to ensure his safety
Hopefully to join group treatment learning and hearing from others so he see he is not alone  the peace about it is everything

If I could, I would give this place 0 stars!!!
I'm a parent, my adult son was taken here by Hoag hospital orders. I had no knowledge of what this horrible place was all about and like. He was put on a mandatory 3-day lockdown due to a heavy alcohol relapse and depression. I was 1200 miles away. I got him out within 5 days and would've sooner if I could have. During that time he was choked severely by another patient and over-medicated and underfed by staff. Staff told him not to tell me about the choking incident and then they denied it.
If you value your loved one at all keep them far away from this monstrously horrible place, and if you yourself are in need of help there are far better places to get that then here. I'd walk into any church before I'd walk into hell! 
These "College Hospitals" should all be shut down! What a joke of a name....Should be called Hell Hospital!

A majority of the nurses treated me and other patients with very little care, they were rude, said hurtful comments, made me feel bad about myself, and just made me unhappy to be there (the weekend nurses were so nice). If it weren't for the other kids I had met I would have hated it far worse. (I was in 2 South, were the "troubled teens" go). Please, I don't recommend sending anyone here.

This psychiatric hospital is beyond nightmarish and has deeply traumatized me for life. I was admitted when I was 16 to the adolescent ward. Yes, I was pretty psychotic when I was admitted, but I am case book bipolar. I should have been diagnosed, treated, and discharged within a week, but I was in this hell hole for 52 days. I was HEAVILY drugged the entire time and was treated like an animal. The staff was unequipped and clueless with how to treat someone like me and were very cruel and unprofessional. I was put in solitary confinement multiple times and felt helpless and hopeless. The other kids in the hospital were admitted for psych-unrelated issues like runaways, drugs, or acting out. I was this naive sheltered white girl going through a psychotic break and it was so scary being around these other kids who had no idea what was wrong with me and therefore treated me like a pariah and taunted me. I rarely saw my psychiatrist, Dr. James Pratty. He was and still is a horrific doctor. He barely communicated to my parents and threatened to start electro shock therapy to clear my psychosis. My mom was terrified and after getting advice from a friend, she threatened to transfer me to UCLA Harbor Hospital and stated she had "no faith" in Dr. Pratty. Magically, I was released one day after she uttered that to Dr. Pratty. They never officially diagnosed me even though I was released. I was still in a manic state and didn't clear until 2 months later after trying several medications. After this whole ordeal was over, my family and I agreed that I was possibly in Cerritos College Hospital for so long to suck our insurance money dry. THIS HOSPITAL IS ABHORRENT. PLEASE DO NOT ADMIT ANYONE HERE. St. Joseph's hospital in Orange is amazing. They are professional and kind. DO NOT GO TO CERRITOS COLLEGE HOSPITAL. EVER.
