Unsurpassed customer service from technician as well as expert knowledge of the function he performed for me. He very patiently explained the best way to achieve the result I needed. The service was top notch. The office staff was very helpful in getting me the service on a specific date due to new appliance installation. Each time I spoke with the staff they were very friendly. It is unusual to find such great customer service! I highly recommend this company.

Needed to have a whole house dehumidifier installed.  They came out same day to do the estimate (Wednesday) and stated they would call me next day.  It was Friday that I called, Sharon stated she would get back to me that day.  Monday I called and Sharon stated that she would have someone out to my place that week and would call me tomorrow (Tuesday).  Thursday I call and Sharon stated she could schedule it for the following Thursday!

Not to mention, I have all the parts in hand including the ducting, I just need someone to plumb it in.  The estimate was $395!!!

Do yourself a favor and call around...  I'm sure you will get a better price, better customer service and faster install times.

TERRIBLE!!!!! My AC went out so I called to have them come check it out. Upon inspection they said my condenser was dirty so it needed to be cleaned. Fine I paid for them to clean it. 105 dollars. Plus the 49.99 for them to come out to my house. They said it was fixed. The next day it goes out again. I call after work because it says they are open 24 hours and they tell me they can't send anyone out until the next day at 3:00pm unless I'm willing to pay an emergency fee. I ask why I would have to pay another fee if they were just there yesterday and the guy tells me he doesn't know.  I ask how much the emergency fee is, again he doesn't know, and finally I ask well what would you consider an emergency? He doesn't know he said he doesn't work for the company he just answers the phones. So after much frustration and concern for my 1 year who was sweating in her own house, I decided to ask for an emergency call. They guy said okay ill send them a message to give you a call for someone to come out. 45 minutes goes by I get no phone call. So I call again. The guy tells me he doesn't know when they'll call me back or if they'll even come out to my emergency call..... I'm still waiting for any kind of response hours later..... This is the most unprofessional experience I have ever received

I 'm not satisfied with the service I received. Here's why, Tech James and another gentlemen came out on the 14th Aug 15 to service heat pump. I specifically told them it was freezing up on the outside unit. I also told them if I shut off unit for a coupe of hours or more it would work fine. They recharged system adding they say 2lbs of refrigerant. The next day afternoon it froze up again. I was frustrated, I called another service tech, he installed a new fan blower motor. Haven't had a problem since. Were they suppose to trouble shoot the fan blower motor? After I stated" It'll run fine after I shut it off. for awhile. Evidently that was the original issue.

I've been a customer of Colonial Plumbing & Heating for nearly 7 years, and I continued to be impressed by their knowledge, professionalism, affordability, and quality work.  One technician in particular, Joe, is always very friendly and takes the time to explain what he is doing and the long-term benefit of his work.  I would highly recommend Colonial Plumbing & Heating to anyone in the Colonial Heights area.
