Just went in to attempt to have two boot zipperes replaced, a repair I have gotten several times over the past couple years for different calf high boots. The owner attempted to charge me more than double the previous fees. I understand times are hard and would have been willing to pay more, but not $45 per zipper. I will not be returning.

A “Gem” of a shop! The repair work is outstanding, the personal customer service endearing, and the turn around amazing. Bring cash- this locally owned, small business doesn’t take credit or debit. Don’t be turned off by this, the prices are so reasonable and estimates before work are accurate.

Quality work from someone that cares. I had taken my Merrell hiking boot to another shop for stitching repair on a seam. I knew that the repair was inferior when I picked it up, but was leaving on a trip the next day. In three days of use the stitching had fallen out. Save yourself the aggravation 
and take all your repairs to Colonie Shoe Repair

Delightful experience.  Have taken multiple pairs of shoes and they were repaired perfectly and reasonably.  I have dealt with local shoe repair shops before and have been less than satisfied.  This is my go to place.  Five stars!
