Worst place I ever stay!! Rude staff! An other guests try to work in to my room!! No apology from anyone! I been all over the world but this one wow in the US! My first  room had no hot water! Unbelievable!! The manager shut not working there! Be aware!!!

The carpet was filthy .There were  burn marks on the carpet from an iron. The faucet in the shower    was faulty. The staff was not professional, and they charged 10$ for breakfast which consisted of rancid sausage, runny eggs, cereal with no milk. When we were handed the receipt it said no loud noise,  however there was a disagreement going on in the lobby, it got very loud and the staff did nothing. There was a man that was sleeping on the bench inside hotel, and every time someone walked by he was begging for money. There was a manager that walked by him and  he the manager  said nothing. The two stars are for, the hotel was beautiful on the outside, and the lobby was very nice, but inside the rooms are a house of horrors. We had three rooms rented and everyone was disappointed in their rooms. Lastly the elevator was faulty also. The lesson learned behind this experience is to ALWAYS READ THE REVIEWS!!!!

So they charge your card before check in after making reservations through 3rd party and having the option to pay at the hotel.

Out of the whole experience the most distasteful of it all is supervisor Andrea. After bringing my concerns to her attention, she has the ordacity to tell me I'm talking back to her. Asked her who was she. Nobody!! Patiently waiting to speak with the GM on Tuesday. Understandably,  why this hotel has poor ratings.

I love the colony south hotel. Whenever I stay it’s always clean, relaxing and comfortable. My favorite in the area thus far especially for the price you pay. Thanks colony south❤️

Poor guest relations. Attempted to stay at this location and a freak snowstorm canceled my trip. I asked if I could cancel and was told yes by their staff and that they would waive all fees. Shortly thereafter they changed their tune and said I would pay all fees and too bad. I attempted multiple communications (phone calls, e-mails, letters), all of which were totally ignored. All they care about is money. I don't write negative reviews, but when you honestly couldn't care less about customers or guests, up to and including ignoring them and hanging up on them, a negative review is warranted. Would have loved a reliable place to stay for my frequent travels to the area, guess I'll keep looking.
