Dean is a great instructor! My 9 year old daughter has been taking lessons for 3 months now and she has been loving it. He is very patient and willing to be flexible. So happy our friends referred him to us.

I took lessons from Dean for a little over a year and my playing improved dramatically. Unfortunately I had to stop lessons due to a new job and family obligations. I really enjoyed the challenge of trying new fingerstyle techniques and Dean was great at coaching me through any difficulties. My musical knowledge also grew and I was able to improvise more with better color and focus. I'd recommend taking a lesson from CSoM as they have a convenient location and a great staff!

My daughter started ukulele almost a year ago at the age of 6 and is having a great experience at CO School of Music. Her instructor Dean keeps it fun & keeps her interested. Several friends referred this School & we are very pleased. My daughter has already expressed interest in other instruments/voice, and she will continue here if she decides to pursue something else.

At 56 years old I had never played an instrument before deciding to take up guitar. Over the last 3 years Dean has been very supportive and enthusiastic in helping me learn and progress with my playing. I can see that he tailors the lessons to the individual interests of each student. A year ago I decided to record a song for my daughters wedding. Dean helped me produce the song in addition to Kirk helping me with voice lessons over a few months for my recording. It turned out better that I could have imagined and was a great moment for our family. Colorado School of Music is a great family friendly place to learn how to play for all levels and ages.

About 3 years ago I started taking guitar lessons from the Colorado School of Music. At that time I knew almost nothing about a guitar or how to play it, but now 3 years later I write my own music and and can jam with even the most experienced players. They Helped cultivate my love of guitar, and helped me take it from a minor pastime to a major passion. The teachers took my priorities seriously and taught me at my own pace as to make sure I took in all the information, and best of all, they taught me only what I wanted to learn. I would recommend the Colorado School of Music to anyone looking to learn a new instrument.
