I needed complicated orthodontic work. I had an impacted tooth that I was afraid, due to my age, would have to come out. If that were the case, I would have had to get a very expensive implant. I couldn't afford that! Dr. Raptis came up with a plan, and was able to pull it down, allowing me to keep my natural tooth! Time, patience and an excellent staff helped me get the smile I have always wanted! For any orthodontic needs, Dr. Raptis is the Orthodontist you want. He really cares about his patients.

My husband gets his teeth cleaned here because of their convenient evening and weekend hours. A few weeks ago, I went with him and decided to get mine cleaned as well as a walk-in. I sat in the chair for about forty minutes before being seen and was passed off to three different people just over the course of a normal teeth cleaning. No one introduced themselves. At the end, the dental hygienist, who was very nice, pointed out two spots of concern on my X-rays to the dentist. He looked at the film for literally a couple seconds and told her that one spot was simply a contact point and the other spot was a cavity which needed to be filled. I decided to go to my usual dentist for this, however. She examined my X-rays carefully, took an extra X-ray, and determined that the "contact point" was a cavity and the "cavity" was just a spot to be watched. I absolutely trust her and am not pleased that Columbia Dental gave an incorrect diagnosis/recommendation. When I asked my dentist about the reputation of Columbia, she said, "I'm not going to comment on that." Says a lot. Columbia may have extended hours, but be prepared to potentially sacrifice quality of care for convenience.
