In MY experience (through both street encounters and in their department facility), this department has exhibited the "utmost" professionalism... I have always been highly impressed by them!!!

My brother is traveling from out of state and was involved in an accident (not his fault)  in a rental car. He had to call the police 3 times and waited over 2 hours for an officer to arrive, who didn't even take a statement but just handed him a card to look up the incident report online and sent him on his way....My brother said the police officer was rude and highly unprofessional and we'll wait to see if he did an adequate accident report or not! I have traveled a lot and never had to wait more than 10 minutes  for an officer to arrive to help. 2 hours is absolutely ridiculous!
