In operation since 1981. Part of a regional group of Comics For Collectors. Elmira NY from 1983 to 1997. Corning NY from 1991-2001. Retail sales of new and collectable comic books, graphic novels, art books, how to draw. Children's selection of young reading materials. Graphic novels and comics. Also Magic the Gathering, Catan, Munchkin, Dominion, Arkham Horror, Ticket To Ride, board games and many others. Large selection. Subscription services and special orders always welcome. Within walking distance to Ithaca College and Cornell University. Easy parking and near everything in Downtown Ithaca, one block from the Historic Commons.
Ithaca is on the edge of the Wine Country in the center of the Finger Lakes Region. Come visit.

The older gentleman (possibly the owner) was extremely rude and condescending. I was reprimanded for touching the comics. After I apologized for touching the ones I was looking at I was shown “$60 worth of merchandise I destroyed” even though I had not touched that pile and stated so. The response was “well they are ruined”.  His business demeanor was much to be desired.

Decent little comic shop with a good selection of new issues and back issues. The prices are about what you expect, marked high but everything is on sale. I picked up some early bronze age comics in half decent condition for about $5 a piece. The male employee that seems to have some questionable reviews was nice to my girlfriend and I. He was certainly a big "odd", but overall seemed harmless.

The man working behind the counter followed me through the store rather annoyingly and I didn't feel like buying anything since I wasn't given the time to look at a single comic before he asked "so you want to buy it?". Then he nearly pushed me out when I said I wasn't interested in purchasing anything, which was on the account of his rudeness. Never going back there again.

Friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable staff and a great selection. You can set up a subscription of sorts to have select titles set aside for you. You want to back order previous issues? They can do that too.
