I have been in this establishment three times. Every single time it was fine. I was treated respectfully and tended to when needed by the nurse or staff. Some of the correctional officers could be a bit nicer some are very rude and unprofessional. We get noodles and things off comesary and make blow ups. Witch are chips noodles pickles ect mixed together with requires gloves and a trash bag so we dont contaminate our food or anyone's work space but some gaurds say they don't care or to shut up and get away from the speaker and door. All in all 5 stars because it's clean and a good facility.

VOICEMAIL TIP** If an inmate is in jail and they don't know they have a voice mail then they won't get it. You have to tell them that they have to call 111 to receive the voicemail, which is free for them to check. Otherwise, it will go unchecked and you will waste your $1.99. When you visit them or write them, then tell them this. Any inmate can call 111, enter their id number, birthday and get the voicemail. It won't cost them anything to do. If they don't have an account with money on it, they can still get the voicemail. I spoke with SECURIS (the phone company system) today at FCDC and the above information is what he told instructed me to do. Unfortunately there is a snag in the system.They will not be informed to check this by anyone telling them a voicemail is waiting. I just don't want anyone else to waste money. Hopefully this helps.

Police officers could be a little more positive about our loved ones getting released, their so negative when they see the charges. Just because your the police your no better than anyone else.

Need better lighting (or lighting in general) in the parking lot at night and early morning. Can be unsafe for visitors and employees.
