I've been going to Community Dental for a few years now. I originally went here because it was the only place nearby that my kids insurance covered. It's definitely a lower-cost place to go. There are lots of chairs in a small space, not very private at all if you're accustomed to higher-end dentistry. In spite of that, I find the staff to be very competent and fast. It's very much a no-frills experience. They get you in, treated, and out. They're very up-front about costs, and they make sure you can afford what you need to have done.

I have to give a shout out to the receptionists here, they take a lot of verbal abuse from patients for things that are beyond their control and through it all they remain calm and are courteous and sweet to everyone. They don't get the respect they deserve. Every time I have been seen by one of the hygienists or dentists, they have treated me very well and made sure that I was not in any pain.

I went there because i though i had needed a root canal done and to get my wisdom teeth pulled (my last dentist said i needed to get my wisdom teeth out before doing the root canal because of where the cavity was at. I had gotten 2 wisdom teeth pulles there but insurance was switched so i had to get to a new one). I had made my second appointment a month out since that was the closest they could get me in and then 30 minutes before my appointment they said they didnt schedule me enough time so i had to reschedule and the closest they could get me in was another month out and during that time a small piece of my tooth came out.. i was told i was going to get on their cancel list but didnt receive a phone call at all the whole month. Finally i get to my appointment and they sais they didnt schedule me to have my last 2 wisdom teeth pulled out when i had told them i should get that done but apparently only scheduled me for the root canal. So i go in anyways to get it done and turns out they didnt even need to do a root canal which seemed suspicious to me because i had 2 dentists from 2 different places say i was way past the point of getting a regular filling done. I figured i would have gotten a composit filling but turns out i got a silver one instead which i wasnt too pleased about although i really wish they would tell you before hand what kind of filling they plan on giving you. Even part of my gum is stained from the filling.. The staff was okay at handling things although a lot of them were very quiet. I dont plan on going there again.

This has been my dentist for about 3 yrs now. But if I had better insurance it wouldn't b. I actually just recently visited for an emergency Monday of last week, because two of my teeth were giving me excruciating pain. First of all,the receptionists was respectful But him and the person who gives the x-rays were acting like I shouldn't even stay because I most likely wouldn't be seen. After and before she did my x-rays she specifically said I'm just doing ur x-rays after that you'll go back to the waiting room and it could be all day,but I waited anyway, about an hr later the dentist seen me and basically told me I had five teeth that needed to be removed and four were wisdom teeth and that she wouldn't remove the.one that were.causeing me pain at that moment, she said she would refer me to a oral surgeon, so I asked , so what am I suppose to do until I see them seeing as I had already went to a different dentist who gave me antibiotics and ib prophen 800 that weren't working. She said I can give u Tylenol 3 I obviously took them because I was hoping it'd help more then the ib prophen, long story short she gave me 12 pain meds. 12 . I can't get into a oral surgeon until next month, which I'm sure anybody knows it takes a month to be seen at any Dentist basically ,anyway she just didn't really care at all that I was in pain, and then on top of that saying that dentist can't extract four teeth at a time when I know for a fact they can because I have horrible teeth and not too long ago had to have four front teeth removed. I will be going in again today because I can not stand the pain and I can not wait a whole month .
