The Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ) is the state's largest provider of donated groceries, distributing 40 million pounds of food helping feed nearly 1 million hungry people each year throughout NJ.
The Community FoodBank of New Jersey's Southern Branch addresses the great need in Atlantic, Cape May and Cumberland counties. These counties have some of the highest rates of child food insecurity.
Working with 300 community partners, including soup kitchens and food pantries, the FoodBank distributes 9 million+ pounds of food every year. The FoodBank is the powerful change agent that fills the emptiness of hunger with basic human essentials; the things that people need to survive today.
Our mission is to fight hunger and poverty in New Jersey by assisting those in need and seeking long term solutions. We will engage, educate, and empower all sectors of society in the battle.
