Community Hospital in McCook, Nebraska provides advanced care to more than 30,000 people who live in southwest Nebraska and northwest Kansas. Accredited by the Joint Commission, this critical access facility excels in surgery care, rehabilitation programs, obstetrics, emergency care, and in offering a wide range of visiting specialists.

With a dedication to providing quality, efficient and patient-centered services, Community Hospital opened a new 25-bed patient wing with all-private rooms in 2011. Phase 2 of the project, which includes a new surgery wing, pharmacy, and outpatient and community wellness program areas, was completed in 2012. Phase 1 and 2 together comprise a $29 million addition to further the ability to provide quality, efficient, and patient-centered care to residents of McCook and the entire region of southwest Nebraska and northwest Kansas for years to come.
