I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Terri the property manager is very rude and unprofessional not to mention a liar. I was suppose to be doing a transfer to a smaller unit and it was only suppose to cost $50 plus the insurance for the smaller unit. The day I had planned to come in to do the transfer there was not any units available for the size I needed. I was then told by TERRI that the company was making new sized units and they would have my needed size on 9/30/17. I called on that day to make sure my unit I needed was still available and Terri was not in the office. I then explained to the other guy Tom that I was coming in to do the transfer and etc. He gave me completely different information than Terri did so he told me to wait till the next day and Terri would be back in the office. The next day I called and I was explaining to Terri what I was told by Tom and that Tom told me to wait till today because Terri would be at work. Terri said, "I was here yesterday too". Hmmm... So now they both lied?! Then Terri stated for me to come in on the following  Wednesday to complete the transfer. Wednesday I called to let Terri know that I was on the way he confirmed the unit was still available and we ended the call. It wasn't 5 minutes later Terri called back and said that since its now Wednesday (the day he told me to wait to) I am considered late and that to do a transfer I now have to pay the big unit $119 plus a $20 late fee and the $50 plus insurance. Like what? That was NEVER mentioned. I asked you exactly how much would this cost me and you gave me a price and now I have a different price and I came the day I was told to? 
IT GETS BETTER
Then, I asked Terri for his district managers phone number and he says, "I am the manager". I still asked for the DM number and then he said, " let me get it for you CLICK" and hung up on me. I called back about 5 times and he would NOT answer that phone. After calling the location on Dallas Hwy I got the DMs phone number. I called Mr. Hal Wallace and left a message. Received a phone call back from someone else.. Little strange. Anyways I then proceed to tell him (David I think) the story and he said, "let me check into this and call you back". He did. He said, " I spoke with Terri and he said that wasn't true". I said I give you the exact time and date the call was made and you should review the recording. He didnt care. He was also very rude. I then told him that I would be calling the corporate office and that is exactly what I have done. Will be calling again first thing in the morning. I hope this will help you choose wisely when looking for storage. I'm not sure if the whole company is bad yet or just this location and DM.

I have used this place twice, could not be more happy both times. Great staff and service along with great prices!!!!!

This place is awesome!!  I would recommend anyone who is in need of a storage facility to come check them out. Great customer service! Thank you Compass Self Storage!

The Manager was very nice and very helpful. The storage unit was very clean. I had looked at some other storage places and they weren't very clean and sure weren't as helpful and nice as the manager here is. If I know anyone who is looking for nice clean storage place I would definitely recommend this place.

The guy that just took over this property are really looking and trying to take care of this property we're good people we just said she renewed our lease for a second year move to a bigger spot I give him five star
