STAY AWAY!  0 STARS!
One of the worst brokers on the market.
Booked a load with Justin from Austell,GA to Kingston Springs,TN
Told us it was a load of clean brand new paper on skids, which was not the case. Driver loaded bailed recycled paper. 
It was already late in the day so we took the load. 
Delivery was set for 0900am Appt. Driver checks in and they tell him he is scheduled for 1900 (7PM)  and they can not touch him until then. 
When I reached out to the dispatcher(Justin) He laughed and slammed the phone on me, talked to Kenny who strung us along for an hour, and finally got through to the account manager (terry) who also laughed about the situation and put me on hold for 20 minutes. They will not answer the phone and if they do they put you on hold.
TERRIBLE OFFICE WITH TERRIBLE PEOPLE. 
DO NOT WORK WITH THIS OFFICE UNLESS YOU LIKE GETTING SCREWED OVER WITH NO HELP. THEY WILL LAUGH AT YOU AND THEN DO EVERYTHING IN THEIR POWER TO AVOID SPEAKING WITH YOU.

Not only have i worked for steve in the past. I am currently going to use him to help with our freight at the current company i work for! good job steve.. keep trucking

Booked a load to Wyoming about an hour ago, go do quick hygiene, then talked with someone about an eta. Right after I hung up, got a email about the load cancel. Called within 60 secs, now I'm on hold not getting an answer. They canceled the load 37 mins after it was booked and failed to communicate any further. All I could hear was them laughing in the background. They should have a 10 star scale so I could give you NO STARS

I have never seen a Landstar office with so many poor reviews on here, and I just discovered first-hand as to why!

I booked a load from Hiram, GA to Ohio at the rate their agent offered. 30 minutes & no rate confirmation & call them back after I saw they re-posted their cheap ass load on DAT. I call again and I was told they were having technical problems & I asked them to fax the rate-con. Then a freshly posted load again, and an hour goes by. I call again & they said the load was pushed back. Meanwhile, I miss over two hours of opportunities thinking Landstar of all brokers wont play dirty. A note to the manager Stephen Jacks; You are a dirty player sir, and I hope you fall right on your lying face for the way you treat the hard working people that loose money to make you look good.

Somehow Steve managed to take down my previous review, however, the experience with them was bad enough that I'm dedicated to making sure no one else has to go through what I did. Steve double brokered our freight, lied about the drivers location, and then hid like a coward behind his hold button and staff. If the reviews aren't proof enough, a simple google search reveals open lawsuits against the company for their pathetic service.
