A Reform Jewish synagogue in Walnut Creek, CA
Congregation B'nai Tikvah is a Reform Congregation (member of the Union for Reform Judaism) with a current membership of more than 350 families. As Founder Marc Usatin puts it, "We have somehow remained the small friendly synagogue in Walnut Creek interested in creating a community for all people, young and old, single and married, Jews by chance and Jews by choice, the entire fabric of Kallal Yisroel."
It is the goal of Congregation B'nai Tikvah to provide an extended family to its members which will fulfill their spiritual needs, foster their Jewish identity and education, and promote the perpetuation of Judaism. The Congregation encourages a commitment by each member - married or single, working in the home, outside the home or retired - to full participation in Temple life.
