A Group for Young Families with Children Ages 0-8 at Congregation Beth Shalom in Northbrook, IL.
We are all families with young children who share an interest in getting to know one another. Throughout the year we organize numerous events enabling young families to interact. Some of these activities include Young Family Shabbat Dinners, Storybook Shabbat Services, Holiday Events, Social Activites, and Social Action Projects.
Congregation Beth Shalom also has regularly scheduled Shabbat activities for families each month including StoryBook Shabbat, Ruach Family Shabbat and Parent-Tot Shabbat (a current listing of those dates may be found by clicking here). Each event brings families together in a warm environment just right for socializing and trying out some new ritual or cultural experiences! Our ever expanding group ALWAYS welcomes new faces so please feel free to come to our events and give us a try. We can't wait to meet you!
