Shir Hadash Synagogue is a creative Reconstructionist congregation led by Rabbi Eitan Weiner-Kaplow that has served the Jewish community in the north and northwest suburbs of Chicago since 1995.
We welcome singles, couples, and all family constellations, including Interfaith and LGBT families. As reflected by our motto—Community, Creativity, and Caring—we celebrate our Jewish faith through creative worship, social action, music, arts, dance, and drama.
We offer a wonderful 1 day a week religious school, dynamic bar mitzvah and bat mitzvah services, teen program, adult programming, and much more.
