Rabbi Douglas Zelden is the most caring and educating rabbi we have ever come across.  He has brought many families back to being observant.  He is knowledgeable, patient, and is thoroughly familiar with halacha.  He does not rule with an iron fist, as some rabbis do; he shows us the joyous side of living as observant Jews.  If he were to leave this shul, we would also leave, for there would be nothing there for us.  He is marvelous with children, and our own consider him to be "Uncle Doug."
