Shaarie Torah is a Conservative synagogue that fosters spiritual and social values through Jewish programs, outreach, and education. Nestled in the heart of Northwest Portland, Shaarie Torah embraces its 108-year history by balancing contemporary and traditional Judaism, recognizing the past while looking to the future.

Mission

The object of this congregation shall be to establish and maintain a synagogue and such educational, religious, social, and recreational activities as will help further the cause and objectives of the synagogue and traditional Judaism.
