Story

Congregation T'chiyah is an egalitarian, participatory, Reconstructionist synagogue that provides for the expression, observance, study and enjoyment of Judaism, Jewish culture and tradition. Congregation T'chiyah encompasses members of varied backgrounds who come together to enhance their lives.

T'chiyah presents weekly Shabbat services, holiday observances, lifelong educational experiences and opportunities to share life-cycle events that blend tradition and innovation.

Congregation T'chiyah is affiliated with the national Jewish Reconstructionist Federation, the fastest growing Jewish movement in North America. Reconstructionism recognizes that Judaism changes within the framework of tradition. The movement strives to create a Jewish way of life that encompasses the legacies of Judaism and of contemporary American life.
