If you are going in to take a permit, well, have fun with at 13/14. Nasty attitude, gave a different reason every time I came as to why I don’t have enough identification. Been there 4 times(fixing each time). They really seem like they can’t wait to get out of work.

I found the experience to be positive. There was plenty of parking. The wait time was much shorter than Bridgeport or Norwalk.

I just went to this office and I have to say that the reviews here are UNJUSTIFIED. I was in and out of there in about 15 minutes. The people I interacted with were helpful, courteous, cheerful and knowledgeable. I got back home and the people I met in the lobby are the people I left there when I was heading out, it was that quick. They were amazed to see me back so soon. GREAT JOB👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Went to Waterbury DMV on Mon morning. Went through first line, paperwork checked and told everything was good. After 4 1/2 hr wait number called only to be told an additional signed form was needed. Went to the Hamden branch on Thur. Roughly 40 people ahead of me so I thought, here we go again. In and out in 40 minutes. I'm sure people run into issues at every branch but, I found Hamden to be much better organized, less caotic and clean.

I went on Friday last week and was incredibly surprised that I was only there for 40 minutes! Got there at 8:32 and was back in car at 9:10 after going thru the customer service line (Valerie) and then to get a temp plate & emissions so I can re-register my car. Leon was awesome explaining what I needed to do as my car hasn't been registered in 2 plus yrs. Hopefully I can re-register online (Leon told me I should try it) after I get my car fixed today g go thru emissions. I looked up the process online before going so I paid my emissions late fee online g then printed out forms at the library the night before.
