Story

Established in 1880, Connolly is an open-shop/merit shop general contractor and construction management firm based in Beverly, Massachusetts specializing in private industrial, commercial, and institutional projects.

We are currently in our fourth generation of family leadership. Today, owner Stephen J. Connolly IV is just as involved in client projects as was his great-grandfather and his three great uncles when they founded the company over 128 years ago. Steve’s father retired in 1980 and his son, Jay, joined the company in 2007 taking Connolly Brothers into its fifth generation.

We are dedicated to providing quality, professional construction services to our clients. Our years of experience enables us to price and budget more accurately, manage more effectively, and add value at every stage in the construction process.

We are proud of the fact that year-in year out, over 70% of our clients return to Connolly for their new construction projects.
