this attorney will lose a case against pro se.  this firm is by far a "dirty firm". They are dishonest, and use the law manipulate callus and malicious  acts against defendants and violates the "florida oath of attorney"  in the areas listed below.

 "I will not counsel or maintain any suit or proceedings which shall appear to me to be unjust, nor any defense except such as I believe to be honestly debatable under the law of the land;

"I will employ for the purpose of maintaining the causes confided to me such means only as are consistent with truth and honor, and will never seek to mislead the judge or jury by any artifice or false statement of fact or law; 

*"To opposing parties and their counsel, I pledge fairness, integrity, and civility, not only in court, but also in all written and oral communications;
"I will abstain from all offensive personality and advance no fact prejudicial to the honor or reputation of a party or witness, unless required by the justice of the cause with which I am charged;

"I will never reject, from any consideration personal to myself, the cause of the defenseless or oppressed, or delay anyone's cause for lucre or malice. So help me God." 

Here are three examples:

1. While representing the custodial parent (who is complete violation of a court order for the past 5 years) took the money from the client knowing they would loose in court which he did. The child sharing Court Order states that the children are allowed to travel out of state for 2 consecutive weeks every summer, and also split during every holiday or school breaks. The custodial parent has prevented the children from meeting /and bonding with the non-custodial parent's family.  The family has never met the children until they were 5 and 6 years old.  Mr Corey had gone as far as trying to have the other parent arrested during the trial to prevent the children from going to leave the state to visit their family and of course lost the case.

2. The custodial parent's father has a very racist and hatred attitude towards the non-custodial parent.  Mr Corey assisted them in following every legal method to steel over $50,000 worth of tools, and is now pushing strict child support laws against the non-custodial parent who had a mobile welding business at the time, and is now (was) a transporter.  Hence without the tools and a DL - the non-custodial parent can no longer perform or conduct business nor apply for business loans, car loans, personal loans and as a result is affecting the reputation of this person which preventing and hindering the ability to get hired for other companies and as a result, is affecting the ability to keep current with child support.

3, He continues to assist the father of the custodial parent in ways such as staging an aggressive attack against the non-custodial parent - using the new boy friend of the custodial.  

The plan was to find a way to arrest the non-custodial parent for fighting in front of the children.  They had coached the new boy friend of the custodial parent to use his car to block in the father during child exchange - using a weapon in hand for intimidation.  

This plan backfired tremendously - resulting in the BF to be removed from the house by the sheriff and DCF.  The BF now has 2 active restraining orders against the children and a violation of the order. 

- it happened while the children were inside the car of the non-custodial. 
- the innocent 5 and a 6 year old daughters, who adore their father, had to witness this horrific set up and is now referred to child therapy by the department of children and family's.   He took the money for the consultation, then takes more money to defend the client, and looses of course - while in breach of the oath and is currently being investigated. 

Mr Corey is now ironically representing the boy friend who has the restating orders.  This will be the boy friend of the "custodial parent" who used a weapon (a 36" machete) in hand, and his car to corner in the father while in possession of the children.

I dealt with the Miami courts with other lawyers for over a year and a half with no result. If you want help he's the guy. their staff is supportive and understanding. He is tough and direct and will tell it like it is. If you want sugar coating and wasting your time go to someone else. but if you want your issues resolved immediately Joseph Corey is your answer.
