Good dentist, Awful hygienist:  Dr Weerasinghe is an excellent dentist, he is quick at identifying issues, and didn't order unnecessary procedures.  The problem is with hygienists working at his clinic.  For reasons unknown, there is a revolving door for them.  I have had multiple hygienists & often find out the hygienist I booked my appointment with is no longer working at the clinic only when I got there for my appointment.  He has even used temp hygienist, who is either awfully skilled or is simply a very sick person.  I had bleeding so bad during my cleaning & sore and swelling gums for days after.  I think the risk of having such awful hygienist have out weighted having a good dentist, and have switched to someone who can keep good hygienist around.

I attended this very efficient and welcoming Dental Practice when staying with my daughter in Unionville. I was seen on time and assessed for emergency treatment by Dr 'Mig' who explained clearly what had been found and how he could address the problem. My treatment - delivered by him was proficient, calm and friendly and I felt safe and well looked after in his care. As a   former Executive Nurse with a Registration record of almost 46years  I observed high standards of communication and delivery at every stage of my pathway from the Receptionist and Dental Nurse and Dr 'Mig' meeting all my professional expectations. My thanks to all concerned.

I've been going to Dr.Weerasinghe for about 16 years and I have been extremely happy with the care he has taken with my teeth and general oral health.  Even when I moved up to Innisfil I have continued to commute down to Markham for my dental appointments.  He never pushes any work to be done that isn't absolutely necessary but he provides you with all the options and his recommendations.  He also treated my son when he was very young, so I can tell you that he is very good with children.

I’ve appreciated after the personal care here for over a decade. Evening and Saturday appointments are available, and I have been able to speak to the dentist directly outside of office hours for emergencies.

Dr. Weerasinghe is the best! He cares about his patients. Staff is exceptional too! Would highly recommend.
