It was refreshing to order and be served by staff who are attentive & customer service  oriented. I was actually looking for Starbucks  but saw Corner Bakery from the road pulled in, when the coffee drink wasn't available the service was so good and staff attentive that I ordered dinner I hadn't planned on ordering. Service is a terrific variable in generating revenue! Thank you!

I really love the salads and panini, but today I walked out. A coworker and I walked in about 11:12. The cashier was taking care of the customer.  Once the customer walked away the cashier answered the phone and was busy with that customer. We looked around. There was a gal taking dishes out to customers who already ordered. There was a third gal and she was focused on typing in numbers into a small device. We waited 5 minutes and didn’t received any acknowledgement, so we walked out and went across the street to Zoup.

Even late in the evening, Corner Bakery was open and had friendly service and a good selection of baked goods still available.  The food came pretty quickly, too.  I ordered pasta, and my husband had a sandwich; we split a baby Bundt cake (mmmmm.... chocolate),  and we finished with plenty of time to make it to our movie, right across the parking lot.  Good location, very convenient for our purposes that evening. It's a nice place for a casual meal, not terribly expensive, fairly clean and cheerful.

I like the Warrenville- themed decorations they have here.  The pictures and signs all reference historic places around town.  It's clear that they are true to their concept of being a neighborhood restaurant, even though it's a chain.  I've been in this Corner Bakery at lunch a few times, and that's usually much more crowded than this evening was.  So if you prefer to avoid the lunch rush but like the food here, try going in the evening, when you are in the neighborhood for a movie.  It worked out well for us.

The food is exceptional, but of course one bad apple, the female manger on duty Jan 7 in the am. was rude no smile nothing to welcome and while we ordered, she seemed almost bothered by our family group. Well no lie I would have loved to give 5 stars because I'm sure they really deserved it but had to be transparent. 😕

Great food, quick service, nice location. Chris and the other staff members are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast at this location is a great way to start the day!
