Very disappointed. Took in a comforter, paid over $40 for dry cleaning plus to have a stain cleaned.... the only great thing was the turn around time was next day, but when I brought it home, it wasn't even cleaned!!!! The stain was still there the exact same as before but I could have looked past that more than the smell! The comforter was a clean comforter (no pets in our home), just needed a washing after our move.... it came back smelling like burned metal. I set it out over our banister for several days to air it out, still the smell remained. Ran it through my dryer with dryer sheets 3 days later, STILL has a dirty burned metal smell to it which is extremely frustrating as it came back worse than it went to the dry cleaners! So, after paying $42+, I now dropped it off at another dry cleaners (Romie's Cleaners). Paid another $40+ here ($45).... costing me just under $100 after all of this is said and done!! Hopefully my comforter comes back clean, stain free and neutral smelling! I don't know if the issue at corner cleaners is that it's completely open in the building where it's being cleaned, or if the bag it was sent home in to me was the issue....I have no idea but I just couldn't get past it enough to use the comforter on my bed without taking it to another cleaners to have it genuinely cleaned.
